MERRY CHRISTMAS!
2006/12/22
Ok, apologies to Blogger. I think there was some nonsense spyware making the site lag. I've loaded some photos from Hong Kong. Kinda lazy to upload all.
Tram (and audrey who wasn't meant to be in the picture).
Okay, ignore the band of grey at the bottom. This is the tracks of the trams we took.
The string is attached to the tram I think.
Did you know that the Carl's Jr. in Hong Kong is called Hardee's? Haha. Who knew?
Also, Guardian is called Mannings.
So I went to Carissa's new house yesterday with Dawn, Caiyan and Sarah. It is
super nice . It is sort of a townhouse with 5 storeys (including the basement and roof). Her room is so so nice. But it was kinda tiring to keep climbing from the basement to her roomcause we forgot to take stuff. We sort of finished our homework there and played. Sarah was like so funny. We went to her basement, which is a gameroom with PS2 and her (or rather her brother's) Xbox. We played Halo 2 which we didn't know how to play at all. Dawn pronounced it as 'Hello', but Carissa and I stuck on 'Hay-lo'. I realise I suck at these killing combat games. I was killed like 3 times in a row. Then we played Sims 2 on her Xbox. My Sim looked like Michael Jackson's female counterpart. Freaky. We wanted to go to her pool but it started raining so oh well.
Ciao

Hey all. I'm finally back. Blogger is so annoying. It took me like 40 minutes to get to the Create Post page. Gah. I can't even go to my templates page. Anyway, Hong Kong was nice :) It's supposedly winter without snow there and it's cold. The temperature's about 11-16 degrees which makes it impossible to leave the hotel without your sweater. And no, I didn't go to Disneyland. Why do people always ask you if you went to Disneyland when you say you've went to Hong Kong?
So anyway, I had an awesome time. Especially with my travel buddy (sounds like a bag), AUDREY. Haha. We went there with her family cause her dad worked there once and he brought us around. The flight there was SO retarded. I think we got a little altitude madness and laughed at everything. I think Jonathan was a little irritated. Ah. What fun. We also caught this poetic sickness. We kept saying things like 'Silly Kindy' or 'Freaky deaky'. Haha. And we got air hair. Urgh. Your hair kinda gets out of control and annoying. Much like Blogger right now. So when we landed, we were greeted by this man who seems a whole lot like Lydia Lum (or was it Lydia Sum)'s male counterpart. Freaky.
I love the streets like Temple Street and Ladies Market cause there are SO much stuff to buy there. I bought this gorgeous Franck Muller watch and of course presents for you all. We also went to CityGate Shopping Mall where all the factory outlets are there.
On the trip back, we were sitting behind these 3 Chinese guys who were SO annoying. Actually we were kind of irritated just by the looks of their faces. Harsh but the truth. The guy sitting infront of me kept vigorously fidgeting in his chair. The guy sitting infront of Audrey leaned his chair so far behind that her legs had no space to move whatsoever. The worst part: they kept speaking uber loudly in Chinese. So each time they fidgeted in their chair or leaned back ridiculously we would sort of thump their chair. Then in the middle of the flight we were just talking with our legs crossed (which means that they were not on the floor, goons), the middle guy (the most annoying one) suddenly turned around and said, “Please you could stop kicking chair”. !!!. Hilarious. And when we had to go to the lavatory, we observed that they had the massive dandruff case. I felt like giving them a bottle of anti-dandruff shampoo. Yuck.
I already have the pictures loaded on Photobucket, but this mad Blogger site refuses to let me upload it. I'll upload them next time. Oh and I also came back from camp last Tuesday. The leaders went for a 2 days 1 night recce camp. We stayed at the Sarimbum Scout Camp. Lots of commando mosquitoes. Even insect repellent couldn't keep them away. Urgh. But it was fun overall. A little tiring and quite dirty but fun. I can't imagine the 4 days 3 nights next year.
